My memories of Ivy Bensons Band go back to when I was serving in the forces 1940 to 1946.
Being in the Signals, we had access to radios so we could listen to all the
broadcasts from the BBC and other. Ivy Benson was a must, those days.

It was a sad day when they packed it in.

Better than all the rubbish we are subjected to, these days.
